Are you really Portuguese?
Yes I am 100% Both my parent's families are from St. Michael.
Do you speak Portuguese?
I do not speak Fluently. When I was a small child I knew much more than I do now. Being third
generation and after my grandparents passed away my parents rarely spoke it. I do know all the
bad words of course :) and I can speak a little here and there but I'm not carrying on a "normal"
conversation anytime soon :)
Where do you get all this from?
Everything I do has been said either by a family member, friend, or someone I know or ran into
on my job. Fans also email me with "Ameriguese" words or ideas for skits. I can't make this stuff
up! :)
I'm Portuguese and I'm offended! What do you have to say about that?
You're offended? Nice to meet you, I'm Steve. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Nice thing is
you don't have to listen to my stuff or get the CDs. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If
you can't laugh at yourself then maybe you're way too uptight. There are more important things
going on in this world than my website and material. Imagine all the Black, Hispanic, Italian, and
other comics who would be out of a job if they didn't poke fun of their own. Out of every 1000 or
so emails I receive I get one or two "you should be ashamed of yourself" ones. People with
"common sense" know that just because someone has an accent or butchers some words in
another language doesn't make them dumb. But it's okay not to like the material, really! I respect
a person's opinion but don't have to agree with it, just like they have the same option :)
Do you do personal appearances or shows?
Believe it or not this is all still just a big hobby for me so any shows I do are very limited and rare.
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL WITH REQUESTS FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND FAMILY GATHERINGS. I get
many of these and in fairness to all including time I spend with my own family I am unable to
perform at these.

Yes.
Do you sign autographs?
Yes. It boggles my mind why anyone would want one I'm an ordinary guy, but yes I certainly will :)
Who produces your CDs?
I record and duplicate all the CDs myself at my home. Fugettabouta has 5 tracks that were
professionally recorded in a studio. I still however do all the duplication, labels, packing and
mailing myself. Yes just little old me. That's why it might take a bit to get a CD if you order one :)
Do you have a Christmas CD?
SHUWA!! It's called "Manny Christmas!"
It has audio only versions of my Christmas powerpoints plus new Christmas songs. It has 11
